The Podol Mall is located at the site bounded by Mezhigorskaya, Yelenovskaya and Naberezhno-Lugovaya Streets in the Podol district of Kiev.
Podol is one of the ancient and “evergreen” districts downtown Kiev encompassing a few major business centers, establishments of higher education, administrative buildings, office premises and apartment blocks.
THE DISTRICT CHARACTERISTICS
Central Podol is one of Kiev’s major tourist attractions and part of its Central Business Area.
Apart from being the tourist attraction , Podol is a buoyant business area greatly contributing to the city business life.
Business Centers currently in operation there: Ilyinsky, Shchekavitsky, Podol Prestige, Topaz, Artem, Forum , Voznesensky Spusk (Descent), Canyon, Dnepro Plaza, Podol Plaza, Trio, Kyianovsky, Valdimirsky, Horizon Podol and other administrative buildings.
The office premises total area accounts for 197,000 sq. meters with the number of employees amounting to 44,000 persons.
A few business centers are being erected as of now and in particular: the one in Spasskaya Street, the one at the corner of Yaroslavskaya/Verkhniy Val Street, Horizon Podil II, in Frunze Street Podol Prestige- totaling 60,000 sq. meters all in all.

Accounting for the above it is only natural that the number of students amounts to 15,000 persons; with the number of schools (high schools including) being 50, they are attended by 45,000 children and teenagers.
Whereas the Podol infrastructure is in development stage, one could feel shortfalls in shopping areas, entertainment establishments. Therefore the Mall is bound to be an asset and privilege for both, attendees and tenants alike.
Moreover, Podol as Kiev’s historic spot is favoured by hoteliers ,especially recently, since a lot of tourists visiting Ukraine’s capital would choose to get accommodated there. Thus Podol might boast quite a few hotels (mainly four-five stars) as wells as hostels (a recent development in this industry for Ukraine).
